Soupoisseuring

Moving from a home office with adjustable windows to a cubicle without natural light presents the mind with a handful of obstacles.

As far as software people go, I'm an outlier. I prefer photography over World of Warcraft, writing music over round-off error algorithms, drinking micro-brewed beer over Mountain Dew, and cooking great tasting food over grocery store cafeteria goodness.

I still have my nerdy side, though, my last project was a web application to aggregate a 'friends list' style video wall for the patrons of my basement bar. More info on that later..

Along side filing TPS reports in my underwear, I miss the ability to cook three meals a day without commuting back and forth from work. As I'm sure you know, working downtown puts a serious cramp in either your lunch menu or your wallet. Or both.

This blog will strive to catalog of my downtown lunch experiences: good or bad, catered or home made.

I can't wait to see where it takes us.
